Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, I would strongly advise you to, so your event can be properly planned
The DJ who I had booked hasn't turned up, can you help us out?
It's worth making a phone call to find out, if I can help, I will help. There's also a fair chance I may know a DJ who's free that evening, and willing to turn out. It's best to book a good DJ in the first place, not the cheapest, these are the ones that usually let their clients down.
I’ve been quoted a lower price, can you beat it?
We are aware there're mobile disco's out there who are cheaper than we are, but you need to compare 'like with like' to get the true picture. The standard of equipment we bring to your event, is far superior to what these people are using, and our costs need to be covered. We consider our prices represent very good value for money. We don't cut our quality standards to save money, therefore we can't always be the cheapest. Are you SURE a cheap disco is what you really want for your party?
Can we choose our own music?
Yes, we will play whatever music you want played, we can work to your strict playlist, you may leave the choice of music to the DJ's judgement on the night or maybe a mix of the two. It's up to YOU, it's YOUR party and it's YOUR choice, our advise is available if you want it
Will you let us down?
We will do our level best not to, and to date it has NEVER happened. We have modern, well maintained equipment and always have back up units available in case of failures.
What will you wear?
We usually wear smart casual clothing, if you have any special requirments regarding dress code, please mention it when booking your event, we will usually be able to meet it, we always ensure we are dressed appropriate for your function!
What size shows do you offer?
We can provide shows from a small disco for 70 guests, or a larger 'roadshow' type disco for 200 plus guests, through to a full blown mobile nightclub event for 500 or more guests in a large venue, the choice is yours. All shows have a different price as we customise to your requirements.
Is your equipment modern and safe?
Yes, all of our equipment is tested and certified annually for electrical safety. We only use modern equipment that we have carefully chosen from the market leading brands. We use Martin lights, Mackie speakers, Denon and Numark players & mixers, QSC amplifiers, Powerdrive stands and Trilite trussing to mention a few, please feel free to ask our competition if these are at the top end of the market. :-)
Will the disco be loud and ear piercing?
No, all disco's tend to be played a bit on the loud side to create the atmosphere, but if you want it turned down, we will be happy to oblige you. We only use high quality sound equipment, so if you want it loud, you can have it loud, and you won't suffer from the unpleasent high frequency noise that cheap kit frequently suffers from.when turned up!
I've booked another act, can you work with them?
Yes, we have no problem working with other performers, as long as there's room to set up our equipment and there's power sockets near by. If the act you have booked wants to plug into our PA instead of using their own, it is usually possible, but there will be a small charge for this service
